So, Alyx was stuck in the Hermes cabin because she claimed to not know her Olympian parent. What a card. Hades was her father but she wasn’t going to admit that. Most kids of Hades were not liked amongst the other campers. Now, she doesn’t really care, but she doesn’t like her father very much. So, thus ending up in the Hermes cabin for the time being. Of course, that’s if Hades wanted to announce his presence and be a bitch about it and claim her as his daughter. Then again, she might burst out the truth if the kids in the cabin didn’t shut up once in awhile. Every time she walked by the Hades cabin, she got this weird feeling in the pit of her stomach. That cabin seemed nice and calm with few people in it. Maybe it didn’t even have more than two. She longed for a quiet place to call home, and not her old one; that’s for sure.
She wanted to get away. It was mid-afternoon time and the campers would be eating their lunches and getting ready for training, well, most of them anyways. She decided to go by the lake since she hadn’t been there for a while. She crossed her arms and began her trip to the waters. She saw kids heading in the opposite way so that made her feel a little more relaxed about this whole thing. She looked around and when she saw no one around, she snapped her fingers and a tiny blue flame appeared. She smiled at it and then made it disappear because she heard a branch crack. It was just a squirrel. She sighed and started to hear things again. She hated this whole communicating with the dead crap. It bothered her and made her even more paranoid than she already was. She saw the spirits and the ghosts passing by her, none of them seeming to be at peace, just very pissed off. A few of them even seemed somewhat worried, which made Alyx worry. Usually the ghosts were pissy or just at peace, never worried.
She put the thought behind her when she saw the clear blue lake appear out of the corner of her eye. She brushed her hair out of her face and just stood at the very edge of the ground. The lake was so peaceful that it put her mind at rest. She looked around and decided that it may be a good idea to get away from the edge of the lake. She didn’t want to accidentally fall in or something. That would make her angry and she might just start sprouting out flames from her mouth or something. She found a nice log right by the lake and decided to plant herself there. She looked around for five minutes before she decided that it was safe to play around with her fire once more. The only thing that was around her was the dead and no one except Hades and his kids could talk to them. Maybe not even all of his kids could talk to the dead, maybe just see them. She didn’t care as long as they didn’t end up spilling to some kid that she was Hades kid too. She clapped lightly and a ball of blue fire appeared. She smiled instantly and made more appear. She started to juggle with it and she felt like a kid again. It made her happy inside.
