Skipping, yes thats right skipping, to the courtyard was probably the strangest person at this whole camp. Dahvie Xavier Monroe. He had his box of crayons and his favorite Hello Kitty coloring book with him. He didn't go very far without his box of crayons. Those two were almost inseparable. They kept him occupied even though he had the shortest of attention spands. The constant urge of being hungry was bother him, as if reminding him that he couldn't feed here. He hated that, he hated the feeling like he was forced to do something he didn't want to do. Only in this case he was forced to be normal. How was someone like Dahvie supposed to act normal? It wasn't a big secret either, what he was, what he ate. No one in the camp liked him, he didn't really care though. He'd rather have them not like him, it'd make him feel better if he decided to feed.
Sitting down, he opened his coloring book up to a random page and started coloring. Smiling the whole time, Dahvie was in his glory. All he wanted was some attention, someone to talk to. He had Dexter but it would've been nice to have someone else too. His parents never seemed to care too much after Diamond was born. He glared at the coloring book, he hated thinking about his family. To him they werent a family, and they never would be again. "Believe in me when you feel like you’re losing all your hopes and dreams." He started singing quietly, smiling again. He loved that song. For some reason it calmed Dahvie. He wasn't sure why, but he didn't mind it all at the same time. He took a quick look around the courtyard, he wasn't alone. There was other kids there, staring at him. Some in shock, others in disgust, some even looked scared. He rolled his eyes and put his attention back on the coloring book. If people wanted to stare at him like he was a freak, let them. Dahvie didn't care what people thought of him.

Judas had just finished eating and well there was not much else to do. He had already worked out a bit and done everything he could possibly do to help out his situation of trying to redeem himself in his father’s eyes. It was his first real day at Camp Half-Blood. And well last night he met some interesting people. He met his cousin Percy Jackson, who apparently was a big deal, but in reality, he didn’t like him all that much. To be honest, it only seemed like Saphira liked him. Saphira, she was someone else Judas met last night. She was really nice to him and well, she was a little out of the box. But no one topped Dahvie. He was different. A cannibal to be exact. Which should’ve scared Judas, but it didn’t. It could’ve been the initial attraction to Dahvie, but he wasn’t scared of him one bit, like the others were.
Judas was just scared of when he’d have to meet all of them. His physical appearance was not one he was much proud of. His body was toned, and he was tall. His hair was golden almost as if he was being graced by the sun. His eyes were like looking into a Mediterranean ocean. His smile was nothing but charming and so were his words. The one thing he was conscious about, was the scar that his father left him. It made everyone stare. All he could do was keep his head low and hope for the best that someone wouldn’t point him out and judge him off of that one scar. He slowly made his way to the courtyard. There wasn’t anything that he could bring his mind to do other than that. He put his hand on his ass pocket of his jeans to make sure his book was still there. And a small smile came to him. He loved reading and well, the courtyard seemed like a good place to do it.
As he was approaching the place, he saw someone there who was….coloring? He didn’t really know what to think of that. Passed the young boy who was coloring, he saw others who were giving him bad looks, which he was all too familiar with. When Judas was in the eyesight of the other judges, well, they gave a very disgusted look and pretended to be occupied and talking to one another. Judas slowly approached the boy who was coloring and slightly smiled “Hi, I’m Judas, mind if I sit with you?”
He couldn’t really pin that who he was talking to was Dahvie, but, he tried to be friends with him all the same. He didn’t care for the others, he knew that this person, he would understand what Judas has been going through all because of the one scar that has been defining him for so long. Dahvie was lost in his own little world of coloring. He could feel the stares on his back, he wasn't stupid either he knew they weren't good looks. No one ever gave him good looks, well no one besides his twin brother Dexter and Saphira. Saphira was his best friend at the camp. When the two of them were together it was crazy. Her cousin Scorpius didn't seem to mind Dahvie all that much, seeing as he hung around with his twin brother. Dahvie moved his black hair out of his eyes, which had neon green contacts in today. He sighed and continued to color in his Hello Kitty coloring book.
He wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings. So it wasn't really a surprise that he hadn't noticed when Judas appeared in the courtyard as well. Judas was the boy he had met the night before, that Dahvie seemed to be interested in. A small smile formed on Dahvies face and he placed the pink crayon back in the box, pulling out a light blue one instead. It wasn't until he was pulled out of his trance like state that he noticed the boy was next to him.
“Hi, I’m Judas, mind if I sit with you?”
Dahvie must've jumped a mile in the air when he heard a voice from right next to where he was sitting. He looked up and flashed a grin at Judas, thinking it was weird that he was just thinking about him and there he was. Not that Dahvie would ever admit to that. "I know who you are silly. I met you last night remember? Dahvie. Anyway, yeah you can join me." He giggled quietly and placed all the crayons back in the box. He closed his coloring book and placed it aside before turning his attention back to Judas. "So what brings you here?" His smile was still placed on his face, and without him realizing it it had actually gotten a little wider since Judas showed up. [/blockquote]

Judas laughed at himself when he realized who Dahvie was. He wasn’t expecting him to well, act the way he was acting, but some of him wasn’t surprised. He pulled out the small book from his back pocket and placed it on the table before sitting across from Dahvie. Davhie wanted to know what brought Judas to the courtyard and in all honesty, it was just sheer wandering. He wanted to read and well came upon the courtyard. He wasn’t really familiar at all with Camp Half-Blood. He was basically the freshest meat one could find. He was trying to get his mind off of his father and it wasn’t really working all that well.
It was all people could talk about. Judas the one and only son that Zeus truly hated. There were a lot of people who Zeus hated, but Judas was probably one of the top three. The fact that he liked males, well that was one reason that caused Zeus to hate him. And it wasn’t really his fault. It’s just the way he was, and to be honest, and he didn’t mind knowing that he was attracted to Dahvie. Which, well he just remembered about. Shaking out the thoughts of his father’s hate, Judas heard Dahvie ask a question.
“Oh, ha, I was going to come here to read, but apparently, everyone is here, and is….staring at us.”He noticed everyone staring at Dahvie, and he didn’t really get it. Yes, he didn’t look very approachable, but, he was a very sweet guy. Judas never really understood what good judging a person could do. It never really helped any sort of situation. But at any rate, Judas took off his denim jacket and noticed a smaller group of kids looking over their way. He made sure they knew that he noticed them, and well, gave them a dirty look. He looked back at Dahvie “Why do they get to look at us that way? They’re nothing special, just judgmental.” He said with a great smile, one that was well, his most charming smile. "but anyway, what are you up to?"

Dahvie could feel eyes on him, even more of them now that Judas was with him. He didn't have to turn around for him to know that they were all shocked that someone bothered to sit with the cannibal. He figured they must have thought Judas didn't know what he was. It angered Dahvie, but what was he supposed to do? So, instead he shrugged off the feeling and smiled at Judas who was now sitting across from him. How was it anyone's business but Judas and Dahvies as to why they were sitting together and whether or not he knew about Dahvies dangerous past. Although, Dahvie did make sure he didn't tell Judas about that. No one at camp half blood besides his twin, Saphira, and maybe Scorpius knew the truth about his bloody past.
See, Dahvie had went through this mental breakdown and took it upon himself to eat his entire family, besides Dexter of course. He wasn't proud of what he did, but at the same time he didn't regret it either. He did what he did and he couldn't go back and change it even if he wanted to. But honestly, Dahvie didn't want to change that. He didn't care that his entire family was gone and now beyond digested into his stomach. They sure as hell didn't care about him when they were alive. After all the years of neglect then kicking him out, why should he give a fuck about what happened to them? If he did he was an idiot.
It took Judas to start talking again for Dahvie to snap out of his angry thoughts. He smiled at the boy sitting across from him before turning around and glaring at everyone else. "Yeah, when you hang around me your going to get stared at... A lot. So I'll apologize for that in advance." He wasn't joking but he giggled anyway. Yeah, he actually giggled. Dahvie felt bad for Judas, the kid was new and already made what Dahvie thought was a bad choice in friends. Being friends with Dahvie didn't really get you on the most liked list in the camp. But, as he thought that he noticed Judas glare at a small group of kids staring at them and he smiled. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all. "They keep staring at us cause well... I'm not exactly... Normal." His tone went quiet after that and he placed his attention on the ground. He wasn't a monster, and didn't like being treated as one. When Judas spoke again Dahvie looked up at him, but not with the same excitement that he had before. Obviously still pretty upset by the stares. "I'm not really up to anything, I was just tired of staying in my bunk so I decided to come here." Tag: Judas Words: 489 Notes: sorry it took me so long Outfit: hereCredit: This template was created by DAN at CAUTION 2.0

Judas took in all of his surroundings, he flipped through the pages of his book, not even reading them. He had something with his hands, they always needed to be doing something, that’s why he was so good at playing piano. His hands were occupied by having to play both left and right harmonies and accompaniments. He loved music and that’s what he would’ve done if his demi-god status didn’t take him away from New York, where he could have become something, well, worth something. Judas was trying to get his father to accept him, but it would never happen. Not in Judas’ wildest dreams. And the fact that he couldn’t prevail was becoming more and more apparent to him as the days went on. His cabin was empty and he was the only one who could say he was the son of Zeus, which well, at this point was a shock, but he knew his dad couldn’t really keep it in his pants.
The fact that Judas was quite interested in Dahvie, might have come up as another problem as well. Not only did his other members at camp think he was completely off his rocker, they probably thought Judas was some sort of weird seeing how he wasn’t always giving off normal vibes. Judas was bisexual and well, sometimes people couldn’t really tell his orientation, and it kind of set them off in the wrong direction. Judas could feel everyone’s eyes on him, even Dahvie’s. And he couldn’t lie, he somewhat liked the attention. He grew quite fond of attention and it gave him one of his most infamous cocky attributes.
Judas took in all of what he was looking at, and he was not disappointed in the way Dahvie looked. He knew Zeus would be more than furious as to his sexual orientation, but well, he had one Goddess in his corner. And as surprising as it was, his sister Athena, which was quite odd. There were a couple of separate occasions where Judas had encountered her, and it wasn’t all that bad. Yes, the spoke, and well she was the older sister who basically saved Judas’ ass all the time. And it was well, his wisdom. Judas was top of his class, and well, he was set for ivy league, but his passion for music got in the way. But his knowledge was well something that Athena was more than proud of to have a brother so smart. And basically, Athena, was what was keeping Judas’ demigod status. Zeus was just about ready to take it all away, but his older sister, knew of his wisdom and knowledge, and well, he thanked her more than ever for it.
Judas let a smirk fall on his face. There wasn’t much that could make Judas run away or change who he was, and he was only hoping that Dahvie could accept him for who he was. “I don’t mind getting stared at, I actually somewhat like it.” he said in a flirtatious tone. And he couldn’t help but laugh when Dahvie stated that he wasn’t normal. “Well, you’re lucky, because I don’t think anyone is exactly normal here.” He said quietly. He knew that this whole camp couldn’t be considered normal. He could see Dahvie was upset about something, and it must have been the judgment of everyone else. But no one really understood that people’s judgment didn’t matter at all in life. Judas let out a sigh and spoke “ You know, I can say the same thing. And to be honest, I’m glad I found you, all the other people here, they seem so fake.” He said softly, offering a warm smile to Dahvie in hopes of being able to get more out of him. He knew that there were underlying feelings he couldn’t really put a finger on. But he was hoping the clouds would clear up soon.

Dahvie still felt uncomfortable by the stares of everyone. It was really starting to get on his nerves. Did people have nothing better to do then to stare at him? He looked over at Judas, who didn't really seem bothered by all the looks. It was almost as if he enjoyed it. Dahvie seemed confused by it, but didn't say anything. He simply looked back down at his coloring book. Flipping to the page he was working on before Judas showed up, Dahvie pulled a crayon out of the box and started coloring once again. Fully concentrated on the page Dahvie bit his lip and watched as the blue crayon collided with the page. It was exactly what his attention span needed, an escape. A place where it could totally just wander, because each new color that would hit the page would be exciting and hold his attention for a few seconds.
Dahvie felt the world disappear, it was just him and the coloring page. He was even smiling a little bit, he always did that when he colored. Some said he looked so innocent when he was like that, like a little baby that was just born. Although, if you knew Dahvie you would know he was beyond innocent. But at that moment, Dahvie didn't really care about all that. All he cared about was his crayons and his coloring book. He had brought some spare paper with him too in case he got bored with that and wanted to draw. Dahvie was very artistic and wanted to do something with painting or drawing before he was taken to this place. He wasn't sure exactly why he was brought to Camp Half-Blood because, well, Dahvie wasn't a demi-god.
Finishing the page he was on, Dahvie snapped back into reality and looked up at Judas, grinning now. He still could feel the attention being drawn to him but he didn't really care all that much anymore. He had Judas with him now, so he didn't feel very alone. Dahvie couldn't deny the fact that he had feelings for Judas. It was pretty obvious actually that he thought Judas was really cute. But that wasn't the only thing Dahvie liked about him. He liked his personality too. He always wondered if Judas felt the same way, but he could never ask that. Dahvie was way too shy when it came to things like that, so instead he'd just wonder until eventually Judas said something or he actually got courage to say something himself.
When Judas talked Dahvie could sense something in his voice, flirtatious maybe? Nah, that couldn't be it, Dahvie must have just thought that because of the thoughts that were in his mind earlier. "Wait, you actually enjoy everyone staring at you like your crazy?" He raised his eyebrow in confusion, but couldn't tell if he was confused because of what he said or the way he said it. Dahvie let out a little giggle. Judas was probably right, no one at this camp was exactly normal. Everyone here was definitely a little strange in their own way. "Yeah, that is true." He was still giggling like a child when he spoke, his eyes sparkling under his contacts. His eyes widened at Judas next sentence. Dahvie was definitely not used to people actually being nice to him. Usually only Saphira and Scorpius were nice to him. So for someone else to be as well was kind of a big deal to Dahvie. "Aww, well I'm glad you found me too. Everyone here is so judgmental it's so nice to find someone that isn't." Dahvie returned the warm smile and moved the hair out of his face. His mood definitely lightening up after that. Judas couldn’t help but milk all of the attention for what it was worth. There wasn’t anything he didn’t like more than attention. It was kind of, his thing. He got both men and women to look at him. Women thought he was gorgeous, well so did some men, like Dahvie. And other men just thought he was a cool bro. Which wasn’t a bad thing at all. It kept Judas busy. And he wouldn’t have it any other way. It was almost as if he were “sticking it” to his dad. The fact that so many people liked Judas was a way to give a major fuck you to Zeus. Which if it was anything that would make his father twinge, oh, he loved to do it. It was almost like an obsession to him, he wanted to make his father as angry and frustrated with him as possible. Almost show him that, he had the higher hand in the relationship. It was almost twisted.
Some people thought it was insanity that he would attempt so hard to rustle up Zues’ feathers. People thought he was complete out of it. Loopy was the word used most. That’s why his heart was filled with the passion of music. The notes, melodies, harmonies, everything about music, it made him, right with the world. Some people, well they thought he was a musical genius. He had a few musical schools throw out almost full scholarships to the kid, but he turned them down. He didn’t want that. He wanted to be…free. Music wasn’t something you get taught, it was something natural to him. Same with his like of reading. Which was his quite nerdy side.
He looked up at Dahvie who was, coloring for quite a bit of time, finally finished. Judas couldn’t help but love that he was so childish. He loved that Dahvie was so simple. It was almost encouraging that he was simplistic like a child. A child’s happiness was found in Dahvie. The most simplest of things could make that man smile, and Judas almost wished he could be the same. Maybe that was what attracted to in Dahvie, that he could be happy from the smallest thing.
Judas watched as Dahvie brushed away the hair from his face. Judas leaned over the table and got close to Dahvie’s face.“I love the attention, because, well, it gives me quite the adrenaline rush, and a bit of power in my hands, everyone watches my every move just to see what I’ll do next” He whispered the last of the sentence, he didn’t know if it would drive Dahvie crazy (It usually did drive people crazy) but, it sure was making Judas want to move even closer. But he couldn’t bring himself to do it. As much as he wanted to. All he really could do was stare into Dahvie’s eyes. Waiting for either Dahvie to make a move, or just let the adrenaline running through him to cause himself to push himself forward into a kiss that he desperately wanted.
