* General Appearance: Ari is a very petite little thing. She looks like she has no meat on her bones and can barely lift a book. However, she is strong and can lift more than twice her own weight. She has paper white skin with no flaws that anybody can see from and her bright blue eyes matches her skin very well. Her hair changes its color slightly as the weather changes. When it is colder outside, her hair kind of goes browner, while when it’s hotter, it’s redder. Either way, her hair is curly and she’s never straightened it, nor does she plan on it. Her height is around 5’6’’ish and she is content with it.

* History: Alright, she was born June twentieth to Rene Williams and Apollo. What a father, right? Well, considering he couldn’t stay with her, not really. Her mom met Apollo just casually one day. She had Josh in her arms when he was about one year old and she needed help. This man came over and started to make casual conversation with her and helped her out with Josh. She basically poured her heart out to this stranger. Well, about a month later she got pregnant with Ari. Ta da. That’s what happens when a human and a god meet. However, Apollo never exactly told Rene who he was, because she would think he was crazy or something. But when Ari was born, she seemed, different. She didn’t have many pains going through childbirth as much as she did Josh. Not only that, but Ari was just silent when she was born. It was odd and then he told her.
Josh didn’t know what the man was saying because he was only about five when it happened, but he just wanted this man to be his father. The man explained to him that it was just not the right time nor place for him to be with his mother. He kissed the small child on his forehead and kissed Rene. He held Ari in his giant arms, looked at her with her blue blanket around her, kissed her, and handed her back to her mother. He said his goodbyes and then left the room. The family left the hospital the next day with Ari at a healthy weight and height and whatnot, but Rene will never forget whom the father is. She decided that keeping the secret from Ari would probably be a good thing for the time being.
Ari grew up as a normal child. She played soccer, started piano lessons in second grade, and never really asked about the father. She was always so joyful and happy and wanting to meet new people. She was a very trustworthy person, never telling any lies. If she accidentally did something, she would just come clean with it. So, how did she go from bright child to cold-shouldered child? Her mom told her the secret when she was lucky thirteen. So much for trusting people. She yelled at her mother, saying basically that she trusted her and told her everything, but why couldn’t she tell her everything? Of course she ran off to the local playground and sat on the swings for the whole night after that. She thought about it though. Apollo? Her father? How could that be possible? She knew little about the Greek/Roman gods and goddesses, but she tried to rack her brain about Apollo. Sun god, music, bows and arrows. That’s all she could figure about him. Her mom tried to keep her away from those types of things, but why should she listen to her now?
She should start making comparisons then. Music. She played piano and it basically took up most of her time, but so do other kids. Does that mean that Apollo is their father? No. Anything with the sun? No. She’s pale white. Bows and arrows? She did that stuff over summer camp, but she never really paid attention to if she hit the target or not. She then looked around to see if anyone was around and went into the woods that were right by the playground. Long walks through the dark woods, usually calmed her nerves down a bit. It wasn’t long until she was almost jumped by some stupid teenagers about two years older than her. She picked up a stick that was by her feet and closed her eyes and started swinging at random. Maybe woods plus night equals bad idea. She felt that she hit one of the two punks. She opened up her eyes and saw that she’d smacked him in the back of the head. The other one seemed to charge at her and she tried to stab him in the stomach, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it, and just dodged instead. The kid ended up running into a tree and knocking himself out. Stupid teenager.
Shortly after that, she ran back home. Her mother asked her what she was doing. She said at the park and ran to her room. She wanted to tell her, but why would she? She immediately got on her computer and started looking up things on this Apollo god. He was a busy god. Being recognized for healing, the arts, the sun, poetry, plague, medicine, healing, and more. Obviously he needed to calm his ass down, but that’s besides the point. She started to write a list of things. She liked to lift people in their bad moods, so, you could count that as healing. Music was already thought of. She liked to write, so poetry. Truthful. Yeah, well, she had that done pact thanks. She started to scroll down more and more on the screen until she got to the part where the gods and goddesses had sex with mortals. Yeah. There was just no way though. Her mother walked in on her and explained the story. How they met, what happened, and why he left. Ari just shook her head in shame. She could never have an actual father because of him.
She became sourer with things, non-trusting with more people. She told the truth, but that doesn’t mean she had to trust them. Piano music became scarce in the house and she only played it when no one was home to hear her play. When she did play, the music was soft and always minor sounding. Her writings still continued, nothing too evil or sad, but they had a touch of sourness to them. Ari started to build a shell around herself and wouldn’t open it for anyone. Archery became a favorable activity because she could blow of steam without hurting herself too much for it. Her aim was impeccable and she hit the bulls eye every time.
After middle school ended for the poor child, her mother had to pour out the information of being sent away to this camp for kids like her. The camp was called Camp Half-Blood and her daddy had left a little note explaining before they went to the hospital the day she was born. That made her even more happy and joyful inside. Okay, not really, but she was happy to get away from her mother at least. No more lies thanks. She went and she’s been here for two years now. Not a letter sent home, many letters received. No visits allowed because of the gate. That’s how she liked it.
Time to see, the real me.

So, Ari just wanted out of her small apartment. She wasn’t sure how much longer she could stand living with her parents in an apartment only big enough for two. There were technically two bedrooms, but she still needed a bigger space. Her room was like closet size. It was ridiculous. She needed a job and to start saving money up. But, who would hire a fifteen year old? No one; that’s who.
She shook her head and got dressed. Just simple skinny jeans and a shirt for the day. Her purple converse would be enough along with a little panda ring. Plus her jacket, but that’s a given. Before walking out the door, her mom asked her where she was going. ”Out for a walk,” she closed the door and walked out of the hallway. It wasn’t long until she saw the light of day, for they only lived on the second floor. She started walking to the left and had no idea where she was going to go for the day. She thought of a few places. Plaza? No. Music Store? Maybe another day. After going through a list of things, she finally decided on the park. She hadn’t been there in a good long while and decided that she needed to relax for the day. All the stress at home was killing her.
The park took a good twenty minutes or so to get to. It was a good thing that people had invited the portable music players or else she would of headed back home within three minutes. Once she got there, she saw an assortment of people hanging around. Couples, little kids, teenagers, and adults. There were also picnics and people in the wide-open space playing tag. She smiled at the little kids playing tag. She wanted to join in, but she didn’t think that would be the best idea in the world. That would almost be like a creeper move. Plus her shyness prevented her from even talking to anyone. So, she just walked over to the swings, where surprisingly the least amount of people were at, and just started to swing. She leaned her head on the silver chain, listened to music, and continued to watch the exciting game of tag.
